An Oily Skin Guide to Highlighting | My Favorites

Hello! I am back today with another recommendations post for oily skin.  One of my most recent posts was about my favorite foundations for oily skin. Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite highlighters. Some believe that because you have oily skin you can't highlight. But with the proper base makeup, you can use any of these highlighters that create a subtle glow. As the day goes on and your natural oils peak through, you will continue to glow without looking too oily.

Fall Skincare Routine | Feat. Clarisonic Mia 1*

Hello everyone! We are in the full swing of fall, and I wanted to share with you my current skincare routine. The biggest change I've made to my routine is that I started using the Clarisonic Mia 1 ($129 USD)*. I was lucky enough to have Her Campus Media and Clarisonic send me this device and various accessories (brush heads and cleanser) to try. I received the Mia 1 Device with Radiance Brush Head*Pore & Blemish Gel* Cleanser* ($18), Deep Pore Brush Head* ($27) and Acne Brush Head* ($27). My skin has been amazing since I started using this device and accessories, and I wanted to share my thoughts and experience so far.

There are also many brushes that will make an appearance from my first post, which shows how much I love those brushes and that they are amazing quality (you'll see as you keep reading).

An Oily Skin Guide to Foundations | My Favorites

Happy Sunday! Today's post will be all about my favorite foundation for oily skin. But if you're combo or dry, don't worry, still stick around because of these foundations can work for all skin types. I personally think it can be difficult to find foundations that truly keep you matte all day. Even of these foundations, which I love, still, require blotting throughout the day. But upon first application, they mattify my skin and last throughout most of the day.

Two Tools That Will Transform Your Brush Cleaning Routine | Featuring The Brush Bar and The Brush Bar
As a beauty blogger and a makeup lover, I have a large collection of brushes. I have many different brands, ranging from drugstore to high-end, and no matter the type of brush, all of them need to be cleaned. I don't know about you, but I get extremely lazy when it comes to cleaning my brushes, and I can go weeks at a time without washing them. But I was recently given the chance to try The Brush Bar*, which makes two products that will make it easier and faster to clean your brushes. The CEO and Co-Founder, Mengju, reached out to me and offered to send me these products to try. I've never heard of the brand, but I was excited to test it out.
