Review | Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow

During Sephora's VIB sale I picked up a Josie Maran set filled with many of their best selling products. I never tried anything from the brand so I took it as a good opportunity to some new things. One of the items was this Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow which is actually a full size. My first impression of this by looking at the bottle is that it's very watery. But the key to this is to SHAKE it up before you use it. The water and the color separate so in order to get the proper use and color, you need to shake it each time before you use it.

Review + Swatches | ColourPop Eyeshadows | I Heart This, Smash & Amaze

I have been hearing a lot about ColourPop eyeshadows recently and I'm a huge eyeshadow junkie so these are something I was very interested in trying! First of all, I did a ton of searching before of swatches to see which shades would be the most practical for me. I think I did a pretty good job of picking out 3 very different shades, but all very neutral.

My Favorites | Drugstore Powders and Foundations

To be honest, I don't own nor have I tried that many high-end foundations. When I started makeup I started strictly at the drugstore for face products and over time I have found so many products that work very well for me that I don't feel the need to splurge on expensive powders and foundations. I decided to share with you guys three of my favorite drugstore powders and three of my favorite drugstore foundations. Hope you enjoy!

MOTD | Fall Makeup

I don't think I have ever done a Makeup of the Day post on my blog before...but I am now! I didn't share a monthly favorites for October so I figured this would be the next best thing! Since the beginning of fall I have found my favorite go-to look that is natural, yet stays on all day! These products have truly been some of my favorites - I can't do my daily routine without them!

Review | Flower Cosmetics Kiss Me Twice Lip and Cheek Chubby in Rosie Posie (KM4)

If you haven't heard anything about Flower cosmetics it's probably because it sold exclusively at Walmart. I've heard about Flower cosmetics (BTW it's by Drew Barrymore) from other bloggers, but it's not sold at every Walmart- I had to go to quite a few Walmarts to find one that actually carries the brand! Now with a little bit of background, let's talk about the product I'm reviewing today- Kiss Me Twice Lip and Cheek Chubby in Rosie Posie.

Sephora VIB Sale | Wishlist 2014

The Sephora VIB/VIB Rouge sale is approaching this week (20% everything) and in honor of the sale I decided to make a wishlist. This is the perfect time to buy gifts for myself and for my friends and family for the holidays. This sale only comes once a year so I like to plan ahead and decide what I'm interested in buying. Then in the store and I'll kind of have an idea and spend some extra time browsing and trying other things. These are just a few of the things I'm very interested in, but chances are I will only buy a couple of things on this list (psh, we'll see!).

Review | Makeup Geek Blushes | Spellbound & Bliss

Review | Makeup Geek Blushes (Spellbound and Bliss)

Makeup Geek is quickly becoming one of my favorite makeup brands- not only are they affordable but their products are insanely pigmented. I have many of their eyeshadows but these two blushes are new to their collection, and to mine. With so many colors to choose from I definitely had a hard time picking just two. I searched online countless times for swatches and other bloggers opinions on which colors work for different skin tones. They cost $9.99 for the pan and $12.99 for the compact. Not sure which one to get? If you have a Z-palette with some extra space, go for the pan. Otherwise definitely get the compact.
