Top Tuesday | Top 5 Brow Products

Recently I've really been getting into doing my brows. It's something I never saw myself doing a year ago. When I first started experimenting with my brows I used an elf clear/tinted brow duo and it worked for while but then I realized my brows needed a little more TLC. I have pretty sparse brows so I want something that can keep the shape, but fill them in.
These are my top five product but overall I love using Nyx products for my brows. I didn't mention it in this post but their Skinny Brow pencil is basically the same thing as the Anastasia Brow Wiz that everyone raves about. I do like to try things from other brands from the drugstore, like elf, L'oreal, and Maybelline, all make great brow products too.

When I'm going for the lazy look I love using the L'oreal Brow Stylist Plumper (I mentioned it in my monthly favorites here). It has a tiny brush to comb over my brows and the color is pigmented to fill in what I need.

When I want something quick but very durable, I'm obsessed with the Nyx Tame and Frame. This is a cream brow product, similar to the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade. I love using this with my elf Eyebrow Duo brush because it makes the process quick and easy. I use the angled side with the product to fill in my brows, and then I use the spoolie side to blend it out.

But when I really have the time, I'll use my Anastasia Brow Duo. The little compact has a darker shade and a lighter shade. For the outer part of my brows I use the lighter shade, and I use the darker powder for the rest of my brows to fill it in. And to keep it in place all day the Nyx Control Freak Clear Brow Gel is the best! I know if I use this to set any of my brow products they are in place all day.

  7. I absolutely swear by the Anastasia Duo! It is the perfect product to get such natural looking brows. I've tried her dip brow before and liked it... just didn't like how unnatural it could also look. And I'm going to have to try out that NYX brow pencil! xo

  8. Love the look of that Elf brush, it looks great. If I have time to fill in my brows & really spend some time on them then I usually go for the Anastasia DipBrow but if I'm in a rush it's Benefit Gimme Brow all the way. Wish the L'oreal version would have a smaller wand, because it would save me having to spend so much on the Benefit one x

    1. The length of the wand is long, but the size of the brush is almost the same as the Gimme Brow :)

  9. Okay, now I need to try that NYX brow gel! I've been using the Maybelline clear mascara for years to keep my brows in place, but I feel like it's not working as well for me anymore. Definitely going to have to give that NYX one a try!
