Review | IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream

I'm sure many of us have heard about the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream (it's a mouthful!), and for good reason! I've had this product on my wish list for the longest time, and it was only after my big birthday haul that I finally picked it up!

Claims
Starting off with the claims, according to IT Cosmetics website: "Full Coverage Color Correcting Cream, Anti-Aging serum, plus Broad Spectrum Physical Only SPF 50+ all in one!"

The SPF in this is a huge plus! I wore this almost all summer, and even during the winter you need SPF. Continuing backwards, I don't know much about the Anti-Aging serum because I'm only 21, so I can't say much on that.

Coverage
But there is a lot I can say about the full coverage and color correcting! I have very fair skin, and a lot of red in my cheeks. For something that is so lightweight, this works very well for covering up my redness. Now, this isn't a full coverage foundation, but for an everyday basis this is perfect.

Texture
As for the texture, it's not watery or thin. I would say it's on the thicker side, but it's just your basic BB or CC cream.

Smell
I find that there is a slight smell to think- almost lemony maybe? But I don't find it lasts on the skin for more than a few minutes.

Application
Of course, I have to use this with my beauty blender! But it's so blend-able that any brush would work well too.

Finish
I have oily skin, but I would say this is definitely on the dewy side. I don't think it's too oily for me and this can easily be fixed with some powder.

Lasting-power
I would say this lasts a good 8 hours on me- a normal amount for an everyday product. I don't find this produces more or less oil than other products because I have to touch up with almost any face product I use!

Overall
I would definitely recommend this! I love it for every day because of the SPF and the coverage. It's light and lasts as long as I need any BB or CC cream to last. It's also great because it covers all my redness with just one pump and it feels fresh on the skin all day.

Have you tried the IT Cosmetics CC cream before? What do you think?

  1. Now I really want to try this out, I wasn't sure how it was for oily skin but now that you say it's good I'm excited to give it a try the next time I go to Ulta.

    1. It's not bad for oil skin, just set it with a powder!

  2. This sounds like it might be just what I've been looking for in an everyday base - cares for your skin and evens things out. A lot of the BB/CC creams I've tried are either really drying, really oily or just don't really do anything in the way of coverage.

    1. You would think BB and CC are very similar, but I find this CC cream does a better job of covering redness
