Review | Colour Pop Blush in Between the Sheets

Hello everyone! Today I am reviewing the Colour Pop blush in Between the Sheets. I purchased my first Colour Pop eyeshadows a few years ago (review here) and ever since then I have been loving the texture and finishes of the shadows. So when I heard a while ago that they were coming out with blushes with a very similar finish to the eyeshadows, I couldn't wait to try it! Starting with the size of these blushes, they are .5oz larger than the eyeshadows. They also run for $8, as opposed to the shadows which are $5. And the texture- the same as the shadows! It is kind of soft and mousse-y - but still very solid.

So when I felt that these were very similar to the shadows I was unsure how to apply these. For the shadows I use a very flat brush to pick up the color or I use my fingers. But with this I find that when I use my fingers so much of the pigment stays on my finger. That's why the swatch below is very sheer. I played around with all my brushes and I figured my favorites brushes to use with this is the Real Techniques Stipple Brush or the Morphe E8 (which I mentioned in a post here).  Overall I love this blush! On the ColourPop site this shade is described as "A mid-tone beige pink in a matte finish, be a lady in the streets or a freak in the sheets." (So cute!) For me, this is a perfect everyday shade because it's a matte neutral pink. I also find that the lasting power on this is 8 hours+ which is typical for most of my blushes.

  6. Absolutely love the color of this! The formula on these blushes looks absolutely dreamy, although I do see the potential difficulty of application. Definitely need to give ColourPop a try.

  11. This looks like a perfect shade - so many of my blushes are either a bit much or just not my colour, but I love how neutral yet still very coloured this one is.

  12. I don`t think we have this brand in the UK, but I read so many great things about it. This blush has such a gorgeous shade and I love the fact that it`s matte.

  13. I love the CP blushes (and all their products haha) this shade looks so pretty, I also wasn't sure how to apply these in the beginning but do the same as you do use my RT stippling brush.
