Review + Swatches | Morphe 35O Palette + DUPES | Worth The Hype?

morphe 35O palette review and swatches

I have literally been so excited to write this post for all of you! If you watch YouTubers like Jaclyn Hill, you know the Morphe 35O Natural Glow eyeshadow palette is a much-loved palette in the beauty community. It is continuously getting sold out which makes it difficult to get your hands on.

The palette itself costs $22.99 which is amazing for this kind of palette. You get 35 eyeshadows and it comes in a hard black case. BUT, the shipping is around $8 for me, which makes it a little less amazing. Luckily enough I was on vacation in Los Angeles a few weeks ago, and I had a chance to go to their store in Burbank. If you are ever in that area I highly recommend checking out their store, it is beauty heaven! So I picked up some brushes, but also the beautiful 35O palette. I just briefly wanted to share my thoughts and you can decide for yourself if it is worth the time and money.

First, I want you to scroll down and take a look at the gorgeous swatches. This palette is pigmented! Each swatch was done with one finger swirl in the pan- there was no double dipping! Each photo contains seven swatches, but as you can see on the first photo it is hard to see. That is because the first two shadows in the palette, the white and nude, almost blend into my skin. But they are very pigmented and I have been mixing those two shades to use all over the lid.

This palette has a perfect range of mattes, satins and shimmers. I think the formula in this palette is pretty good overall, but some of the more shimmery shades are more dry than others, and some are super creamy. But, my favorite part of this palette are the mattes! Overall, I have no issue with building up color and blending with these shadows. But I find myself reaching more for the matte shades and I love the range they have.

I only got this palette a few weeks ago so I've only begun to touch the surface of the many looks I can create with this. The orange shades scare me a little, but maybe I will find a way to incorporate them into a look.

Overall, I LOVE THIS PALETTE! The formula in this palette is not overall consistent, and some of the glittery shades seem to be more dry, but for the $23 price tag, I'll take it! The matte shades in here are probably my favorite, and I love using the shimmers for a pop of shine. There is a great range of shades from lights to dark, that I think you can create many, many, looks. So, these might not hold up to the standard and quality of the Lorac Pro Shadows, but that is okay with me. I am very happy with this palette, so I would definitely go out and try some more of their Pro palettes.

I think if you are a makeup lover, or even a beginner, this palette will be great to play around with- it has many shadows you may need to create any look! If you are on the fence about it, I would recommend trying it out if you can. The amount and quality you get for the price is amazing!

  4. Hate the shipping cost, it just kills the excitement of how inexpensive the palette is to start off with. Love the shades!

  10. The pigmentation looks insane! The only thing that puts me off this palette is its size - it's too big for my liking! xx
