Review | elf Prism Palette in Nude

Hello! Today I will be talking about the elf Prism Palette in Nude. This is palette I have heard rave reviews about, and picked up a while ago, but never really had the chance to give it a try. These past few weeks I have been playing around with it, and I can safely say I can now give my thoughts.
This palette is literally every makeup lover-neutral lover's dream! The price on this? $10! For those of you who may not know, elf (eyes lips face) is a super affordable makeup brand, and on their website you can always find coupon codes to save on this palette. I also believe this palette comes in other shade selections which is great for those of you who love color!

Many people who have tried this palette say that the shadows in this are like the Makeup Geek foiled shadows, and that I disagree with. Makeup Geek's foiled eyeshadows are super creamy, and I find these shadows to be a little more dry. This is definitely not a bad thing because these are still gorgeous shadows with amazing pigmentation.

From the swatches I am sure you can tell that this palette contains six shimmer eyeshadows, all of which are pretty neutral. The pigmentation on this is fantastic, almost comparable to Urban Decay. I don't find much fallout with these, and I find them to apply very easily with a brush. These also look gorgeous when you wet the brush- it makes the shadows pop even more!

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this palette. For $10 and the pigmentation, you can't go wrong. Even if only half the shadows are amazing, it would still be worth it. The packaging on this is also great because it contains a mirror and the palette is sleek and a great size. If you are a beginner, or even an expert, this is a great palette to pair with another neutral matte palette to create a ton of looks. A gem like this does not come often in the drugstore, great job elf!

  8. Great swatches! I've been eyeing these little palettes everytime I go into Target but I have yet to bite the bullet and grabbed one. Your review sold me - after all, $10 for decent eye shadows is a steal.
