A Must Try! | Review | Revlon Colorstay Foundation
I think that the Revlon Colorstay Foundation is the most talked about foundation in the YouTube and Blogging world. Ever since I started watching YouTube five-six years ago, almost every beauty guru has said that they loved this foundation. I, on the other hand, thought otherwise. I tried the Revlon Colorstay foundation once a few years ago and ended up trashing because I hate that it did not have a pump, also the shade I got did not match my skin. So that was the end of that!

A few weeks ago I picked this up from Ulta and my thoughts have totally changed! First, they added a pump! That was the only reason why I was willing to try it, the beloved pump! Adding a pump to their best selling foundation was definitely a smart move!

As for the shade, a woman in Ulta helped me and we got a shade that actually matches. YAY! So since I have the pump and shade match down, I can give you my thoughts on the formula.

I got the one for oily/combo skin, which works great for me. Even though it is for oily skin, I don't think it makes me look extremely matte. The formula of this is very thin, so when I apply it to my face, it looks just like skin. It doesn't look cakey, but it's a foundation that is very easy to build up.

For the staying power, it lasts great on me all day long! I don't find the foundation breaking up on the skin, however, I do get oily and need to blot- but this is the case with any foundation.

I now see why everyone loves this foundation! It's just a great-no-fail-foundation to have in your collection! It feels great on the skin, lasts all day, and every skin type can use it!

  7. This foundation brings back so many memories to me! I used to use it all throughout my teenage years and it was great! Although my skin type has changed recently so I've switched to lighter weight foundations but this is still a great option! xx

  10. They aren't currently retailing the new version with a pump in the UK, which is a shame, but this is still totally one of my holy grail foundations... I'm obsessed!xx

  12. I remember a couple of years back when everyone was going crazy for this foundation! I think people were saying it was compatible to Sheer Glow as well. It's so good that they've added a pump!

  13. I was the same as you and stopped using Colorstay a few years back as I couldn't stand that it didn't have a pump. Now that the packaging has changed, I'll definitely be repurchasing a bottle, as I adore the long-lasting formula!

  14. I haven't tried it, but I'm very willing to do so as it seems to be one of the only drugstore foundations with a very wide range of shades!

  18. I haven't ever tried this foundation and for the life of me I do not know why. I, for some reason, don't ever gravitate towards Revlon for foundations. However, your review makes me want to try it!
