How Much Is My Face Worth? Hint: TOO MUCH!

It's always fun to know how much you spend on makeup. Right? WRONG. As beauty addicts we tend to be in denial about how we have a spending problem. So why not do a post that proves this idea even further? Today I am going to share with you what I have on my face, as well as how much it costs. I'm actually nervous to see how much it will be, but let's just get into it!

To prime my face I use the Benefit Porefessional ($44) , this is the jumbo size (EEP.). This is like my third bottle of this stuff- it keeps me pretty matte all day, creates a nice base for my makeup and helps minimize pores.

For eyeshadow primer I love the Wet N' Wild Fergie Take on the Day Eyeshadow Primer ($5). I am looking for this online and I can't find it anywhere- good thing I have a backup! I'm getting nervous that they are discontinuing this, it's the best eye primer ever! I have a full review you can check out if you want more information!

To layer with the Wet N' Wild Primer, I use MAC Painterly Paint Pot ($22). I do this because my lids are so oily and this really helps to keep my shadow in place.

For my eyeshadow, I used the Lorac Pro Matte palette ($28). This a mini size of the Lorac Pro palettes but the shadows are all matte. The formula of this is just as soft and pigmented as the larger palettes. I create a very neutral look with this by combining Bare and Linen all over the lid, Latte in the crease and Corduroy in the outer-v.

For eyeliner I used my holy grail Kat Von D Tattoo Liner ($19). It's super black and stays on the lash line all day.

Moving on to foundation, I used my favorite Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless ($6). I speak about this so much on my blog because it's really my favorite drugstore foundation! It keeps me matte, matches me perfectly, and stays on all day.

To conceal my dark circles I used the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in the Brightener shade ($7). I have been buying this for years because it's super affordable, and looks amazing under the eyes.

To set the face I used the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder ($5). It's the perfect powder to keep you matte all day!

To set my under eyes and contour my face, I love using the Lorac Pro Contour palette ($45). This is such an amazing palette because it has a great range of shades (white shimmer highlight, matte yellow highlight, matte vanilla highlight and three matte contour shades). The powders are very soft, easy to blend, and it works amazing for my fair skin.

To finish off the cheeks I used the Clinique Cheek Pop in Nude Pop ($22). For my fair skin it gives a gorgeous natural color to the cheeks. Then to highlight, I used The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer ($24), which I'm sure everyone has heard of!

To finish off the look, to do my brows I used the L'oreal Brow Stylist Plumper ($8). I don't do much to my brows on a daily basis, but this does a great job at tinting and filling them in in one easy step.

The grand total of my face is...DRUM ROLL...$211. This is pretty bad. But I'm hoping there are people who are worse than me!

Now, I tag: Jasmine (Blogsallbeautyy), Jasmine (Jasmine Talks Beauty), Nida (Caked to the Nines) and Krystal (Embrace and & Ignite) to do this tag!

  4. These posts are my fav! I loved having a read of yours ♥

  5. This is such a great idea! Perhaps we can see the price difference in using all drugstore products in compared to all high end on different days. For weekly I tend to use my drugstore products more but for weekends I find I like to use my higher end beauty loves. Interesting to see how much money I'm actually wearing on my face.

  6. oh my god, i really want to do a post like this. i know that it was a tag on youtube years ago and i think its so interesting.

  7. I'd love to do a post like this but I'd probably cringe how much mine is, I bet mine is about the same as yours I reckon. I love the porefessional and mary lou - great choices. I haven't used anything from Lorac yet so I'll have to have a look for something maybe the contour palette.

  8. When you calculate it you get in shock as to how much it all adds up to, just think how much it would add up to if you calculated all of your make-up collection!

  20. The most expensive makeup I buy is my Tarte foundation and powder.(I have really sensitive skin.) But taking care of your skin in all aspects is necessary. Healthy skin is happy skin.

  22. I really need to try the Lorac palettes! They look amazing! X

  23. You were smart to lean more towards drugstore makeup. You saved more money than I have. I am one of those shop at department stores and Sephora people. I admit that I am a cosmetic addict, so I definitely have spent a small fortune.

  24. I want to do this! I'm sure I'd shock myself. I love the Porefessional, Maybelline Matte + Poreless foundation, and the Maybelline Age Rewind brightener. I've became a bit of MAC freak recently and a lot of my daily products are from there so I know my face will be pricey.

  25. Yaas! I can't wait to do this!! You had a good balance of high end and drugstore :). Thanks for tagging me, love!
