My March Beauty Favorites: Kylie Liquid Lipstick in Koko K Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer Sonia Kashuk Blusher Brush RCMA No Color Powder Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Instant-Perfecting Power Primer Z Palette which is filled with shadows from Makeup Geek, MAC, Coastal Scents and Morphe
Happy end of March! IT's crazy that tomorrow is the first day of April! I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather and Spring colors. This month has been really busy with schoolwork, but now that the month is over I have time to relax and put more effort back into my blog. I have been trying some new products so I'm super excited to share with all of you everything I have been loving.

My first favorite is something that many people have been raving about recently, and that is the Kylie Lip Kits, and I have been loving the liquid lipstick in Koko K. I have a full review here if you would like to read it! I have really been enjoying not only the color of this, but the formula. With any liquid lipstick I have to do a lot of prep work so my lips don't dry out, but I love the way this feels and lasts on my lips.

My next favorite is also a new product this month, and it is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer. I have never really been into the whole Anastasia-brow-product-hype-trend. Most of my brow products are drugstore, and Anastasia always seemed a little expensive for a brow pencil. But I was really intrigued by the shape of the pencil tip, and many people have been raving over it, so I made the splurge! And I love it! The color match is perfect and I love the shape of the pencil. It has a triangular tip so you have a thin, medium and thick end to work with to get the perfect brow shape. I would love to do a more in depth review, just let me know in the comments if you're interested!

The Sonia Kashuk Blusher Brush was my amazing deal of the month- this brush is $17 but I got it on clearance from Target for $5! I have been loving this brush because the shape is perfect for blush, but also for contouring. I don't own a brush with this kind of shape, it's very fluffy at the top, but the bottom at the handle is pinched. It's just a great brush for a subtle blended out contour.

My next favorite is really exciting, it is the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Instant-Perfecting Power Primer. Soap and Glory is finally bringing their makeup to the US! I see so many UK bloggers reviewing this primer and other products in the One Heck of a Blot line. I have really been enjoying this primer because it really helps keep my matte all day. It doesn't have a slippery consistency like other mattifying primers, it feels more like a moisturizer so it applies really nicely to the skin.

I have to say, I am really proud of my Z Palette this month. I combined a ton of shadows from Makeup Geek, MAC, Coastal Scents and Morphe to create my ideal palette. I have a ton of shimmers, mattes and basically everything I need to create multiple looks. I'm thinking a full in-depth review on these, let me know in the comments if that is something you're interested in! But if you want a sneak-peek of my MAC shadows, I have a post on them here.

My last favorite I got because of KathleenLights on YouTube, and it is the RCMA No Color Powder. The name says it all- this is a white loose powder that gives off no color. Many people have compared this to the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder which is like $30, but this? This is $10 for so much product! I have been playing around with this for setting under my eyes, the entire face, and I've even been trying baking with it. If you are looking for a super affordable powder to set your face with, I highly recommend it.

What are your favorites this month?

  1. I used to love the S&G Primer then it seemed to stop working for me. I have nearly filled my Z palette with a mix of MAC and MUG shadows.

  3. I think I'm the only person who hasn't tried the Kylie lip kit yet! I also love the brow definer, I feel like it's much better than the brow wiz. Recently I've been trying to fill up my Z palette too and I love the way yours look.

  10. I've heard some other people say they found some Sonia Kashuk brushes on sale, but my Target hasn't had any. I don't need any more brushes, but for $5, you can't pass it up! The Kylie color you have is so pretty and perfect for every day wear. I've also been loving the RCMA No Color Powder. It doesn't look cakey, sets my face, and helps keep my oil at bay. I couldn't believe how much product I got for such a great price. I have a Z Palette with my eye & face essentials and it's so convenient. The shades in yours are gorgeous!
