Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duo | Prosecco Pop and Pamplemousse | Review + Swatches
If you've been reading my blog for a while then you know that I am a huge Jaclyn Hill fan. When she came out with 'Champagne Pop' with Becca, I was obsessed. 'Champagne Pop' today is one of my all time favorite highlighters, and to be honest, I would buy almost anything with Jaclyn Hill's name on it. When Jaclyn came out with her collection with Becca, the face palette they created was not something I was ready to spend the money on. It was a gorgeous palette, but I didn't feel like I needed a huge palette for $52. But when they came out with the split pans, I was stoked! I really wanted to try 'Prosecco Pop' (the second highlighter Jaclyn created with Becca) and Becca's mineral blushes. Today, I will be reviewing the Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duo in 'Prosecco Pop' and 'Pamplemousse'.

In this collection, there are four different split pans to choose from: two contains 'Champagne Pop' and two have 'Prosecco Pop'. Picking a duo was very difficult because I didn't feel like the blushes were super wearable. I did, however, know that I wanted a split pan with 'Prosecco Pop' since I already own 'Champagne Pop'.

'Prosecco Pop' is a beautiful addition to the 'Champagne Pop' family. It is definitely more of a gold highlighter compared to 'Champagne Pop'. It has the same soft texture as 'Champagne Pop' and it does not disappoint in the way it looks or applies. I was nervous at first because I have fair skin, but 'Prosecco Pop' really does work on my skin if use a light hand and control how much I put on.

'Pamplemousse' was hella scary to put on because it is a neutral hot pink blush. When I got it in the mail I could tell instantly that it was a bright blush. But surprisingly, I love it. If I use this with a light hand, it gives a beautiful flush to the cheeks.

What drew me to these split pans overall was A. the packaging B. it will be amazing to travel with. The size of the compact is the same size as Becca's traditional blushes and highlighters. The main difference is that the rim of the compact is gold which is a very nice touch. It's very sleek packaging, and having a mirror inside is super convenient. I will definitely be bringing this along when I travel because I have a blush and highlighter all in one compact.

Overall, the Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duo in 'Prosecco Pop' and 'Pamplemousse' is very unique to my collection. I don't own any gold highlighters like 'Prosecco Pop', or blushes as bright as 'Pamplemousse'. I love the formula of both of these because they are very pigmented and soft, but they do have fall out when you go in with a brush.

  4. She's really taking over the industry right now! I'm not really a fan of these Becca items, but I can see why they are so popular. I love the packaging on all these items though, they're very gorgeous.

  5. These caught my eye as well! I love the shimmering skin perfectors but I think Prosecco pop would be too dark for me, so I'd go for the one with the pink blush (I think it's called Flowerchild) and Champagne Pop. I do love the color of Pamplemousse though!

  10. Girl I was holding out on ordering any of the Champagne Splits. I really want Prosecco Pop and Pamplemousse, but stopped myself because I don't need any more highlighters, but now I may have to give in haha ;). Love the review and gorgeous swatches!
