My Favorite Highlighters | High-End | Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette in 'Dim Light' and 'Incandescent Light', Lorac 'Moonlight', Becca 'Champagne Pop' and 'Pearl', Anastasia 'Starlight', the balm 'Mary Lou Manizer'
I'm back today with a new post, and I am sharing my favorite high-end highlighters. I love the range of highlighters I own because I sincerely believe that each one is different and can be great for different kinds of makeup looks.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette in 'Dim Light' and 'Incandescent Light'- If you haven't tried the Hourglass Lighting powders, then you need to go get yourself some to try! These are some of the best, yet subtle highlighters I have ever tried. They are super versatile because depending on your skin tone they can be used as traditional highlighters or setting powders. They are not glitterly, they just give a really nice sheen to the face that is not overally dramatic. In this palette I love using 'Dim Light', which is a beige powder, and 'Incandescent Light' which is more of a light pink.

Lorac 'Moonlight'- This is my new favorite highlighter! For those of you who are very fair/do not like intense highlights, this is the one for you. Unlike the Hourglass powders this does have glitter in it, but it's very subtle and can be built up to get a more intense look. 'Moonlight' is a light pink shade which can work on so many skin tones.

Becca 'Champagne Pop' and 'Pearl'- If you're looking for a super intense highlight, then 'Champagne Pop' and 'Pearl' are perfect for you. These are gorgeous glittery, intense highlights which look amazing on the skin. 'Champagne Pop' is a collab with Jaclyn Hill, and it is the perfect champagne color which works on so many skin tones. I love mixing it with 'Pearl', which is a pure white, to tone down the champagne color. I love wearing them alone, or together. 'Pearl' is also a gorgeous shade to wear on the inner corner of your eyes.

Anastasia 'Starlight'- I did a full review on this highlighter a while back if you would like to hear more! But I love this shade from Anastasia because it's very unlike anything else I own. It's a white gold shade which gives a gorgeous glow to the face.

the balm 'Mary Lou Manizer'- My last favorite highlighter is an oldy but a goody, and I'm sure most of you already own, or have heard of the balm 'Mary Lou Manizer'. Very similar to the Becca highlighters, this is a very intense highlighter in the champagne family. I love using this on my cheek bones, and it works beautifully as an eyeshadow. The texture is so soft, it's just the perfect shade that everyone needs in their collection!

  1. Such a great variation of highlighters! My hands down favorite highlighter is BECCA Moonstone - I'm rather fair and this is the best shade for me. I have heard it pairs well with Champagne Pop so I am tempted to pick that up as well. I do have the Laura Mercier highlighter on my list and it's quite easy on the eyes as well.

  4. I love Mary Lou but I don't consider the Balm high end. I think it's STILL the best out there, however. The Balm really put highlighting on the map.

  5. I feel like I need to really step up my highlighter came, I only got Mary Lou recently so about 100 years late to the party, and I'm still yet to try ABH and Becca. That needs to change! Lovely list.

  8. They are so many of favourites here. I love the Hourglass powders but I like to use them as setting powders. Mary Lou and Champagne Pop are brilliant. I recently picked up ABH Glow Kit in Sun dripped which is amazing xx

  12. It's really helpful to see them swatched like this to compare the colour and amount of shimmer.
Another nice high end one is Charlotte Tilbury's Filmstar Bronze & Glow.

  15. I like Becca Champagne Pop but have recently been finding it a bit too much and too pigmented. I would quiet like to try one of the more subtle highlighters such as the hourglass or lorac ones.
