Travel Essentials | Beauty and More
Good day everyone!

I have come to hate traveling a little less the past few years. It's the worst when I have to travel alone, anyone else feel like this?? I think the reason why I don't mind traveling as much is because I have my set routine of how I pack and I know exactly what I'll need on the plane. I get to my seat, settle in, put on some music, and try to sleep as much as possible!

I am away traveling this week and in honor of that, I thought I would do a travel-themed post. This time around I will be flying and there are certain things I like to have with me when I fly. Of course this is not everything I have with me when I travel- I always overpack my carry on! But these are my essentials that I cannot travel without.
Headphones- Everyone needs a good pair of headphones when they travel. I love my Beats Solo 2 Headphones because they block out surround noise and sounds on the airplane, while having excellent sound.

Portable Charger- Many planes these days have outlets, however, sometimes you can get unlucky. I always make sure to have a portable charger with me just in case!

Wallet- DUH! I like using a small wallet like this one from Kate Spade when I travel to keep all of my IDs, credit cards and cash.

Sunglasses- I always travel with sunglasses, but it's not really a necessity for the plane. I love these from Forever 21 because they have a gold rim and look great with any outfit!

Makeup Wipes- I like bringing two kinds of makeup wipes with me when I travel. To remove an dirt or oils on my face, I love using theGarnier Skinactive Clean Purifying Oil-Free Cleansing Towelettes. They do an amazing job at cleansing and purifying my skin, but it actually mattifies my face. To remove my makeup, I love to use the Simple Micellar Wipes because it removes all of my eyes and face makeup without irritating my skin.

Body Spray- I think we all feel a little smelly when we get off the plane. So I always make sure to have a body spray, like the Victoria's Secret PINK Body Spray in Sweet and Flirty, to use when I get off the plane to feel more refreshed.

Oil Blotting Sheets- If I want to keep my makeup on, or I just feel a little oily, I like using blotting sheets like the Boscia Charcoal Blotting Sheets. These are a little larger than regular blotting sheets so when I need to blot my entire these are great to use because I only need one.

Lip Balm- Like many people who get dry on planes, I feel like I always need some moisture on my lips. I love using the Smith's Rosebud Lip Salve because it's extremely hydrating, but it doesn't have a heavy scent.

What are your travel essentials?

  4. Sunglasses and make up wipes are a definite must for me! Sometimes my make up just bothers me a lot, specially if I'm flying, so I need to be able to remove it and freshen up! x

  5. I love this! Earphones are a thumbs up for me, as it's just so nice to zone out when you're stuck in the air for a few hours anyways. I basically agree with everything you've written here, and I've pinned this post on Pinterest for my future reference :) xx

  6. The only thing I'd probably add is a basic moisturiser that I can use on my face and hands as they do get dry on the plane.
