As a beauty blogger, there are many products I talk about on my blog, some of them I hate, and others I love. Also as a reader, many bloggers talk about new and old makeup products. There are so many amazing products are there, and a lot of them get very hyped up, whether it's on a blog or on YouTube. Today, I'm sharing my personal high-end products that I think are worth the hype. These are products that are very hyped up on the internet, but for good reason. I love all of these products and if I ever finish them, I will be very quick to run out and repurchase it.

The first product is the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which has been a cult favorite for years. The Urban Decay Naked palettes are a little pricey (around $50) but it's well worth it. The Naked palette especially has a perfect range of shades that can work fro anyone. All of the shadows are very pigmented and very easy to blend and work with.

This should be no surprise, but the Beauty Blender is my holy grail beauty tool. I did a whole post if the Beauty Blender is worth the hype, and the answer is yes! Nothing, for me, has ever come close to the Beauty Blender (yes, even the Real Technique sponge). When you damp the sponge it blends in and applies liquid and powder product beautifully. Everyone needs this in their collection!

The Kat Von D Tattoo Liner has been my all time favorite eyeliner for years, so it's definitely worth the hype. If you're a beginner or a pro, this felt tip liner is perfect for lining your lash line or create a perfect wing. It's super black, dries matte, and literally lasts all day!

Another high-end product I think is worth the hype, is the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation. I did an entire review on this, and I'm sure you guessed it, but I love it! It's definitely worth the price and the hype. This is the only foundation I've tried that I think can work for any skin type- oily, dry and combination.

I've noticed that Benefit Cosmetics has an amazing marketing team and does a fantastic job at hyping up all their products. But the one product I really think is worth the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I did a whole review on this a while back, and since then it has become my holy grail mascara. It lengthens and volumes without clumping up my lashes, it holds a curl and doesn't flake all day. It's basically the perfect mascara.

So many people love this concealer and for good reason. It's very lightweight, hydrating and full coverage, which makes it perfect for the under eyes.

The next product worth the hype is the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in 'Painterly'. I remember when MAC used to be the 'it' brand, and nothing was better than their products. But I think over the years I have discovered they might not have the best eyeshadows, lipstick etc. But, their paint pot is unbeatable. I use this every day on my eyelids to combat oil and my eyeshadow from creasing. If you're looking for an eyeshadow base, this is it!

A range of products I totally think are worth the hype are the Benefit Boxed Powders in 'Hoola', 'Rockateur', 'Dallas', and 'Hervana'. I remember the days when people raved about 'Hoola' as the perfect bronzer. I recently got on the bandwagon, but I have to agree. In general, all their boxed powders are super soft, pigmented and easy to blend. 'Hoola' is a neutral bronzer, 'Rockateur' is a mauve blush, 'Dallas' is a rosy bronze and 'Hervana' is a berry/purple blush.

The last range of products I think are worth the hype are Becca Cosmetics highlighters and blushes. Pictured, I have the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duo which contains a blush and highlighter. I think Becca became really popular for their highlighters and became even more popular when Jaclyn Hill created Champagne Pop, her signature highlighter with them. Also, recently Becca and Jaclyn Hill created the face palette which contained two highlighters and three mineral blushes. I don't own the palette, but I do own the highlighter and blush. Both of these products are super creamy, pigmented and easy to blend. Definitely worth the splurge!

  2. I haven't tried any of these /guilty as charged/ but the one I've always wanted to try is UD's concealer. I can't wait to see if it's as good as people made it out to be.

  5. I've always wanted to try the Makeup Forever foundation - maybe this winter. My skin might get too dry then for my Estee Lauder Double Wear.
