It's a new year, which means new year resolutions! When it comes to lip products I tend to stay in my comfort zone with nude shades. But this year I want to venture out and try some new colors, whether it's for everyday, or special occasions. Gerard Cosmetics was nice enough to send me a package filled with so many lip products, and I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to test out some new shades! In this post, I will be talking about the different formulas and shades, and sharing my overall thoughts.
  • Berry Smoothie*
  • Mystic Moon*
  • Buttercup
I've spoken about this formula on my blog before. The shades are beautiful, and the packaging is absolutely stunning and feels like high-end. I sometimes find that these lipsticks can be a little dry. I've had Buttercup for a while and I find it's very creamy and pigmented. I find the other two shades are also creamy, but sometimes the lipstick has to be rubbed on the back of the hand to warm up the product. Besides for that, they do feel really nice on the lips and they are beautifully pigmented.

Lip Pencils

  • Cher*
  • Underground*
  • Ecstacy*
This is my first time trying their pencils, and I am obsessed! All three of these shades are unbelievably pigmented and creamy. I don't own many lip liners, so I'm excited to add these to my collection.

Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Glosses

  • Nude
  • Shimmer of Hope*
  • Crystal*
  • Pouty Princess*
Gerard Cosmetics literally makes some of my favorite lip gloss formulas. All of these shades feel very hydrating and glossy on the lips, but not sticky. I also love these because they have a light in the lip gloss so you can apply them anywhere!

Metal Matte Liquid Lipstick

  • Underworld*
  • Cherry Bomb*
  • Dream Weaver*
This is a newer product for me, but so far I've been enjoying them. These are very pigmented, and feel nice on the lips. They definitely have a metallic finish, which is very new for me. I think I'll be sticking with satin and matte shades, and move more towards these for more exciting and unique events.

Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipstick

  • Ruby Slipper*
  • Wine Down*
  • Skinny Dip*
This is also a formula I am familiar with, and I love these because it feels nice on the lips. Skinny Dip especially is my favorite because it's my go-to-everyday-nude.

Overall, I am pleased with Gerard Cosmetics, and I think they beautiful and affordable lip products. If you want to read my previous posts on Gerard Cosmetics lip products, click here.
