July 2017 Beauty Favorites Fiona Stiles Matte Finish Foundation Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in 'Paaarty' Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette L'oreal Lash Paradise Mascara MAC Lipstick in 'Velvet Teddy' NYX Mineral "Set It and Don't Fret It" Matte Finishing Powder
Another month has ended, which means it's time to share products I have been loving in July! This has been a great month with a lot of exciting trips, relaxation, and my birthday (yesterday! the 29th). I haven't tried many new items this month, but there are definitely a few items I have absolutely been loving this month that I had to share.

My first favorite is the Fiona Stiles Matte Finish Foundation, which I picked up at Ulta for under $10! I don't know much about this brand, but apparently they are being removed from Ulta while the brand is being rebranded, which means all of the items were extremely discounted. I have been loving this foundation because it does an amazing job at keeping my skin matte all day. When I use this foundation in my typical routine, my skin is matte all day and other products apply nicely over it.

Every year Sephora gives out great free birthday gifts, and I picked up my free gift in the very beginning of July. I picked the Tarte set which came with the Amazonian Clay Blush in 'Paaarty'
and a liquid lipstick. I have especially been loving this blush because it is the perfect natural pink shade, which I have wearing daily. I love the Amazonian Clay formula because they're very pigmented and last all day long.

An old, but current favorite of mine is the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. Since it is summer, I have been going more basic with my makeup, but I can't go without doing my eyeshadow. The Naked Basics Palette is perfect because it has all the shades I need for a basic/natural look- shimmering white, matte beige, matte medium brown and matte dark brown.

Even though my makeup has been more natural and basic, I can't go without mascara, and my absolute favorite has been the L'oreal Lash Paradise Mascara (check out my previous post where I talk about this being a dupe for a high-end mascara!). This gives my lashes a lot of volume and maintains a curl throughout the day.

For my go-to lip product this month, I have been wearing the MAC Lipstick in 'Velvet Teddy' almost every day. This isn't exactly a summer shade, but it's a beautiful matte-my-lips-but-better shade. This gives my lips some color, but it's so similar to my own lips that it's not too dramatic.

My last favorite is an older makeup item, and it is the NYX Mineral "Set It and Don't Fret It" Matte Finishing Powder. On days when I don't feel like doing a full face of foundation, I find that I do need some coverage and powder to help mattify my skin. I simply put on some primer and dust this on my face, and it mattifies my skin and makes my skin look fresh all day.

  1. too faced better than sex is my go-to, holy grail mascara and I wouldn't use any other! I'd love to test this lash paradise out and see if it's as great, because it would be a huge saving every few month! X

  7. I had seen the Fiona Stiles stuff on discount, but they were already out of my shade! I've heard quite a few people say good things about this foundation though! I, also, just purchased the L'Oreal mascara and I'm not sure what I think about it yet! I bought the Waterproof version (as I usually always buy waterproof), but this is a PAIN to get off! Sometimes I feel like my eyes look spidery after applying too. I'm not sure if it's just the waterproof version or what because so many people have been raving about it!

  15. I don't know much about makeup in fact nothing at all. But the detail in which you described made it easy for a guy to read :) I know now when the girlfriend asks me for something I can actually know what it is instead of chucking it all at her :)
