It's been almost two years since I did a brush favorites post, and I figured with the release of new brands and brushes, I wanted to share what I've been using on a daily basis. There are also many brushes that will make an appearance from my first post, which shows how much I love those brushes and that they are amazing quality (you'll see as you keep reading).

Face

  • Sigma F30 Large Powder- I think I've had this brush for over five years, and it is still my favorite powder brush. Through all the uses and washes, it's still super soft and hasn't shed. It's super soft and perfect for apply powder all over the face.
  • Morphe E2 Round Powder- This brush from Morphe is their Elite collection, which means it's super soft and great quality. This is a round powder brush that is stiffer than a typical brush, so I love using this for bronzing to get a blended look.
  • Morphe E4 Angled Contour- Another Elite brush from Morphe, this is the best brush for applying blush. But, this would all work really well for contouring and bronzing because of the angle shape.
  • Spectrum B02 Well Rounded*- I love my Spectrum set, but this brush is my perfect contour brush. It's not a typical brush for contouring because it's round and stiffer, but I find I can get a precise contour with this, and also blend it the way I wish.
  • Morphe M438 Pointed Contour- Another brush from Morphe, not from the Elite collection, I like using this for powder to set the under eye, since it's pointed and the bristles are tightly packed. But, this would also work well for highlighting.
  • Morphe Y14 Pro Detail Highlight- My last face brush is also from Morphe, and this is perfect for highlighting. The brushes are soft and not tightly packed so I love it for a light and diffused highlight.

Eyes

  • Sigma E50 Large Fluff- This is another Sigma brush I've had for many years! I like this for applying highlight under the brow bone.
  • Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush- To blend all my shadows, I love love this brush. This is a typical round fluffy brush that's soft enough to blend out any look. It's just the perfect shape to blend out my looks.
  • Sigma E60 Large Shader- To apply shadow, I love using something flatter and stiffer to really pack on and build up the color.
  • Morphe E13 Oval Shadow Fluff- This is an Elite brush for Morphe, and this is a stiff tapered brush. It's perfect for applying shadows directly where you want it, but since it's stiff, it's not ideal for blending.
  • Morphe E28 Round Blender- This brush I use for many things! It's a round fluff like the Sigma E40, but it's a little smaller so I like to use it to apply color in the crease, the outer-v and to blend- depending on my mood.
  • Coastal Scents Pro Blending Fluff- For literally $2, this brush from Coastal Scents is my favorite. I think I own 5 of these! This is like the Morphe E13, but it's not as stiff, so I love it for applying and diffusing colors in my crease.
  • Morphe E18 Round Crease- For my last eye brush, this is an Elite brush from Morphe. This is a small, round, stiff, brush, so I love it for concentrating color on the outer-v, and it also works well as a pencil brush for the inner corner or on the lower lash line.
